Arrma Granite Upgrades Pro Line Ford F100 Body

Arrma Granite Upgrades Video

Welcome to the channel, where we cover everything related to RCs. In this episode, we are going to look at the Armor Granite 3S BLX and provide you with a good body option to replace the existing one.

If you are new to the hobby, you might have just gotten your hands on the Armor Granite 3S BLX or the Stampede. In either case, we have got you covered. We will be replacing the stock body with a Proline F-100 1996 Ford F-100 tough color black body.

The Proline F-100 1996 Ford F-100 tough color black body is already painted, so there is no need for you to paint it. The body fits perfectly on the Granite, but it does require body posts. However, we will show you how to do it without the body post, and we will also demonstrate how to attach body clip retainers.

Trimming the body is necessary, and we recommend using a pair of Lexan scissors, such as straight cut and angle cut. Once you have trimmed the body, use a fine-grade sandpaper to smooth out the edges before reaming the holes and adding body clip retainers.

Finally, peel off the protective film, apply the stickers, and attach the body clips. If you use the Armor body clips, keep in mind that the molded piece on the bed might make it difficult to clip the body, so you may need to drill a hole. Also, note that the belted 2.8 Duratec tires are too heavy for the Granite and can break the driveshafts, so we recommend sticking with the stock tires.

We hope this article has been helpful to you, and we look forward to seeing you on the next one. Don’t forget to subscribe to our channel for more RC-related content. Thank you for watching!
